Drowning
Now that you’ve left
I’m drowning
I can’t hear your voice
Cause its already drowned
And now you’re not here
To say the things I need to hear
That could lift me from this place
And bring me to a better life
A place where being happy
Isn’t such challenge
A place where I could see you
Somewhere where there are no deep seas
To drag me beneath the surface
A place where you’d never have to leave
And there would be no such thing as pain
A place where I would never have to drown
