Impatience drumming fingers
Unsteady heart rate his breath lingers

Not a leader he’s left to follow
No friends to turn to hard to swallow

No love left hard to accept
This unfair cruel life concept

Unsure what to do with his life
He came across an idea and picked up a knife

No more cruel insults or being picked on
Not even a scheme not one to con

This guy plunged the knife into himself
But his heart wasn’t the one torn from the shelf

His little sister full of love and care
Walked into the kitchen and saw him there

Screaming and running dialing 911
God please help her isn’t fun

She loves her brother all she can
Little sister had no idea of his plan

“911 what’s your emergency?” Operator asked
“My brother is on the floor bleeding badly”- not letting a moment pass

“We’re on our way” sirens started to sound
And lights flash heartbeats speeding left to pound

Hours passing tears falling
Any results? The doctors stalling

Needing to see her brother she yearned
Her parents feared what she’ll learn

Here lies the peaceful brother she never knew
Who wasted his life right on cue

His bullied soul and damaged mind
He had a bond with his sister, always kind

Here lies the brother who broke her heart
Rest in peace, you can never restart.

I wrote this when I was reading about Columbine, and Virginia Tech, it made my friends cry.
