Autumn
The birds have now all gone to bed
The smell of autumn in the air
Wind twirling leaves with grace and beauty
Leaving trees now foolishly bare
Their partner taken, they now dance alone.
The sun shines less, the moon glows more
Now winter is waiting at the door.
Don't let her in, don't let her come!
Let autumn last a while longer.
Red and orange , yellow, and pink.
All colors of the sun, now fading
Into a blue and white fairytale.
