The Telephone Poem
I miss the days
when we could
talk for hours
on the telephone.
You'd talk,
I'd talk,
We went hand
in hand.
We'd laugh
together and
watch TV,
while we were
both apart.
You talked about
my hair all the time,
about how it
had a funny part.
I miss those days,
and now that they're gone,
I want them back.
So call me on the telephone,
because I'll always be waiting.
