A light is turned on
You turn it back off.
Your friend weighs a little
You weigh enough.
She carries a lighter
You carry some gum.
He eats too much
You eat just some.
A faucet left running
You stop the flow.
That man holds a saw
You hold a hoe.
You cut a carrot.
These things do happen
But how can you bear it?

hello! i am sad to find that my poem is missing a line... after "you hold a hoe" should be "She cuts her wrist, you cut a carrot"! that is all! thanks to all those who love this poem!
