Silent Cries
In the night
A night so cold
You can hear the silent
Cries from down the hall
They remind you of a time
Where there was nothing
And nobody to protect
Or to love you
And you begin to wonder
Why whoever it is, is crying
Because you want to go to them
And hug them and make them stop
But you know you cant because they
Are in a different world
Not even knowing what is going on
Right in front of their eyes
