Hanging There

hanging there
without a care
nothing more to share
nothing left to do
stuck there sad and blue
keep thinking how it took so long
in the end, so wrong
no reflection left to see
none staring back at me
left in the dust
even in the rain to rust
stuck in the cold
enough with the scold
left, gone forever
never to return, never ever
stuck out just hanging there
no care, and yet no reason left to share
me hanging is all that’s there
