Only Around Me
What would you think
if our future lives were inevitable.
If our lives somehow
intertwined
to become like that
of an impossible fingertrap.
No matter how hard we try
no matter what we may do
we will always:
think what the other thinks
act how the other acts
live like the other lives.
This spark that was created
when two unlikely souls met
somehow found a way
to consume my thoughts and dreams,
overtake my inner sense of being,
leaving me feeling oddly, completely loved.
I’ll probably never know what it is.
It’s something about your eyes.
They feel loved,
feel cared for,
feel you found the right one.
Or that’s what I see,
only when your around me.
