   TWISTED

She dances in her dreams -
Spin with the shredding music.
The mistress of a family -
she criticizes what she craves.
She hates the one that betters her - the pulp of this madness.
And the infants - with their whimsical wreckage.
He has her twisted.

Every triumph is a greater loss - she pours her life
into the hands that mangle it.
Now she watches the wedding of her lover -
clutching her blind plans with a shaky hand.
Sickly rooted in plans for an empty future.

He spins her around to the music - she closes her eyes
to avoid the cold stare
of the knowing bride.
Fantasies paw at her jaundiced mind -
secrets spinning out of control.
The destruction she could spring upon this picture -
As fast as the tears that roll down her burning cheeks.

She can't betray the one who's unfaithful every night.
So she swallows his promises.
And she's strangled by his deceiving honesty.

She's the fool.
Played by his tender lips that always taste like
someone else.
And now this temptation has become an addiction
And like an addiction it's boiling the blood that
freezes her heart.
A heart that he's used to twist her brain.
