Rope MAG
my grandmother once told me
that when she was a girl she
had a swing in her garden
quite like mine
and one day when she went
out to swing she saw the
rope was unraveling.
she had to leave her home
and travel far across the
ocean that day
and she never did return to
that swing ...
so each morning as i, too,
go to my garden i pray that
the rope of my swing will
still be tightly wound.
