Free MAG
Free at last from anchor and mooring
Up and down with crest and tide
A breeze picks up: All hands on deck!
With head-to-the-wind: To the port side!
A zephyr's salty breath on my hair, face, and lips
Unfurled sails hoisted, and halyards made fast
Mainsail and jib fill: Ready about!
Watch the boom: Starboard tack!
Sea spray cools me at my leeward post
Like a gull, my course set for the open sea
Exultant, my heart soars at the thought
Of my untrimmed sails: Free!
