Rain Dancer
She’s a raindancer
With a dripping smile
She can twirl through the puddles
In a ballet style
Even her tears
Fall in raindrops while
The rest of the world
Buries inside
She’s a raindancer
With a thunder tune
Shaking through
Her earthbed room
Hold her tight
And she’ll show the moon
Hiding behind
The storm clouds
She’s a raindancer
With an umbrella hate
Reads lightning’s palm
To discover her fate
And just how many stars
Will come of late
To watch their
Fallen brothers
She’s a raindancer
With a reckless leap
No soft shower
Has ever put her to sleep
They only served to
Make her up her keep
Paying all she has
For the wet skies
She’s a raindancer
With a half of a heart
One slice in her chest
The other only starts
To come alive when
The weather does her part
In bringing the love
To the ground
