High School Memories MAG

   Even though I know how far apart we'll be

Forever together, always in my mind

Going through the memories we've made

How insignificant they seemed then

I look back now and see how much they really meant

Just you was all it took

Kind and gentle was your voice

Laughs from you always made me smile

My four years of high school have meant so much

Now and forever I will always carry them with me

On graduation day

Peers always say their last good-bye

Quite sad I will be

Remembering those times we shared together

So quickly our time together flew by

Touching my feelings deeply inside

Until now I didn't know how much you really meant to me

Venturing into something brand new

Waiting to see what the future holds for us

Xpecting that we'll be together

You'll never know how much I love you

Zero moments not thinking of you



Ask me and I will tell

Because you are the only one that I

Consider my best friend and only love

Don't forget me

I liked the alphabet thing you did, but why did you start with E, then the second stanza go back to A to finish it?

This really makes me think of how fast these four years have flown by. I haven't really had that one person with me through all four years, but I have grown really close to a few people this year who I don't want to leave next year ):

This was really good! i could related to it in every way, except replace high school with middle school....

I love this poem because Im currently a senior and I know after this year me and my friends will lose contact and all we will have are memories to remember each other by.

awh,,this is grand. i luv it.! :D its so true to. we spend so much time thinken bout that one person through out highschool,,&then once graduation comes by,,we end up liven the rest of our lives..goin to college,,gettin a job,,falling in love..all without that one person we fantasized so much about. that one person that all through highschool gave us that extra push to keep trying..i love this writing.!! its so true.

Awwww. This was such a great poem and so sad:( I literally feel like ima bout to cry, and i haven't cried reading anyones poems yet. as i type this my eyes are filling up. because i'm currently on the verge of maybe being in a relationship where we've liked eachother for three years. and ima bout to be a junior in high school. and we like eachother soooo much, but i have this fear of being in relationships, that they'll never work out, that we'll just break up and be hurt in the end anyways, blah blah blah. and this makes me think about how if we don't eventually be together like we want to, when senior year comes around, and we're still just friends. i'll be living with such a regret and sadness. and i'd miss him more than ever. thinking of this is something that could be me in two years..and i don't want that. anywayss....sorry for that story. lol. i just wanted to tell you that i love the poem. and it's very real, and touching. i'm like, crying right now. great job:)

and she will never forget you. i can promise you that. if you guys were that close, and she meant that much to you..im sure the feeling was mutual and you meant just as much to her. :)

It was funny that something as simple as "Don't forget me" made the poem. I liked it.
