Yellow filled my life
in forms of you,
touching the dark corners
I thought to be hidden.
Sharing a life,
an existence that left
me gasping for air,
so raw and wild it was
sharing with you
my realities.
You gave me something
to dream of.
Feeling inside my
open wounds, and though
making them bleed,
I was glad as every
painful drop
released itself,
poisonous venom finally
freed from within.
Yellow is gone now.
Time is gray.
Life plain reality.
But from far off
in the distance,
a warm ray touches
the back of my neck,
and I know somewhere
you and I still exist
in a brightly colored
fantasy ...
