Faces: Iii MAG
I sit alone against the wall
of the bustling hall
People blur past me
rushing to the bus
rushing to practice
rushing away
One face stops and asks
"Are you okay?"
A simple question really
yet I cannot bear to look into that face
and continue this eternal pretense
so I don't respond
the face leaves
and I drown again
alone in a sea of people
