I can see your smile
Away from a mile
From top of the hill
Waiting for me still
I ran with my bare feet
Along the long lonely street
Thinking, when we meet
Again, my heart will beat!
I ran fast as a deer
While shouting, hoping you can hear
From the top of the hill
Where you waited for me still
The three words that I held so dear
And hoped only for you to hear
The three words that is long over due,

One thing to point out quickly grammar-wise
"The three words that is long overdue" --> "The three words that ARE long overdue".
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grammar nazi. ;)
