Walking through the halls
eyes cut me with a cold stare.
Flesh creeps, hair stands on the back of my neck
is your aggression mine to bear?
Do you hear my voice
over the huge crowd?
All aspects of my life scream: "Individuality -
I'm different and I'm proud!"
But like a normal person
When you throw stones I bleed.
Even if I don't belong
to your race, sex, religion, or creed.
I feel pain.
I dream just like you.
I suffer the wrath
of my mistakes too.
But I know for my problems
ninety-nine percent of the time I am to blame.
But yours I have nothing to do with
so don't you dare associate guilt with my name.

This is truly brilliant. The words flow with ease and the statement is completely true. You're a gifted writer.
this is really good and i agree some people at my school hate me fpor know reason. some people spread flase rumers. now i am known to everyone as "the retarted girl" people say " don't be friends with her she is reaterted" it is sad. thanks for thisa poem it helped

Wow this was so moving to me. This is what it feels like to be at my school too. If you don't shop at american eagle, then your weird. People don't seem to understand the concept of individuality and that everyone has feelings. It's nice to read that somebody else gets it too. Great job.
