My Everything and More (Alissa's Poem)
The world is too cruel to face alone
With you by me I’ll make it through
You are a gift in this cold world
When I’m in heaven I’ll feel déjà
You’re the most beautiful person in the world
I’m my happiest when I’m with you
You’re the best thing to ever happen to me
You know this poem is overdue
I’ll save you from anything
That I guarantee
I’ll stand by you until the grave
Everything is easier when your with me
You are my everything
I’m nothing without you
You stuck with me through everything
Mended my soul when it was black and blue
I loathe every mile that stands between us
How dare the separate me from her!
I know I’ll see her again
That’s what I’m waiting for
When I’m a brat she is patient
When I cry she is my comfort
As long as I’m with her
I could never be hurt
What did I do to deserve you?
You’re a saint to put up with me
To society, I’m a loser
But you see inner beauty
You’re the best thing to ever happen to me
I’ll be your best friend forever
The world is cruel I must admit
But we can make it together
Stand by me, take my hand
I will support you through it all
Nothing in this world will ever separate us
I’ll help you so you will never fall
We’re best friends for life
That’s what you always say
Now come on, we can do it
Let’s make it through today
