Just a thought
I love him,
He loves her.
My best friend
is a backstabber.
Cold and alone,
I wait and cry.
Thinking of the day
That my heart died.
The day that I lost
The day she forgot
The day I went home
and had vengeful thoughts.
The day that I lay
Broken and swayed
Hoping that one day
I would just fade.
Lost in the world,
When our eyes meet,
As broken as me
and as pale as a sheet.
His hair all ragged
And his eyes dark blue
There was something between us
That had to be true.
Broken no longer
Finally set free,
He seemed just as happy
to be talking to me
