The Cost Of Freedom
A lady in a tower
A prince on a horse
Overwhelming sadness
No regrets, no remorse
Locked away, trapped
Free as a lark
Shadows around her
He is a spark
She sees a man
And he sees a prize
She thinks with her heart
He thinks with his eyes
The girl won’t be free
And he rescues her
Harrah, She is saved
but he is her new curse
Now she is awake
And he is asleep
She makes a decision
He, she will not keep
She takes a knife
He takes his last breath
Now she is free
He, trapped in eternal rest
The girl in the tower
Or the prince on his steed
Who is enslaved
And who is now free?
