When God made me,
He must have seen my weaknesses.
He made the path perfect
so I could meet you.

I give you everything I have..
All I am.
Every breath I take is just for you.
I wanna spend forever with you,
and only you.
You'll be the only one I kiss goodnight.
Every morning, I wish I could wake up next to you.
Every night, I wish I could feel you laying by my side.
If I'm just dreaming, please,
don't wake me.
I feel so alive with you.
I love you so much!
My one true love.

The author's comments:
This poem was written for my boyfriend. I was thinking about how he doesn't believe in God and I do, and how that didn't make sense because how else would we become a couple? I never would have thought I'd be this lucky! It also shows how wonderful my life is now and what I wish for.

Well, I know this is months later but comment I will! HaHa. Truely, I am sorry to hear that. My friends and I...we don't know what to think anymore.

its alright. i guess ur poems are lacking a certain originality, and they're pretty darn void of descriptive/figurative language. but u hav a good foundation! u just need practice

yeah, i didn't like that part, but i couldn't think of anything better. haha. and i've kinda changed since this was written and posted. like..my belief in god is nonexsistant.

I really like it! The one line that doesn't seem to fit though is "I love you so much!" It's a little less poetic than the rest. Very nice however, and very heartfelt!
