Welcome In Mom
welcome in mom,
have a seat.
you might not be in here long,
but go ahead and rest your feet.
you might notice
parts in here are dark and cold.
you cant trust it farther than you can throw it,
as i'm often told.
go ahead, make yourself comfy,
maybe take a look around.
you should really come see
every small sight and sound.
oh! here's a part you've never been in
because i've never opened the door.
well, why are you still standing?
what are you waiting for?
do you really want to see ME?
do you really want to open that door?
or do you find it scary?
thinking of what's in store?
do you want to see me fighting my war like a sodier?
do you want to see a heart thats been love stained?
do you want to see what rests on my sturdy shoulders?
do you want to see what brings me pain?
do you want to see how many people i've made cry?
do you want to see lies that will never become truths?
do you want to see how bad i've made him want to die?
i could open the door, but what's the use?
you've never seen inside before,
not even when i let you in.
for now i'll hide behind the door,
that may never open again.
