Habit Never Broken.
You ask why I never cry,
You say it's best I should...
I guess I could just feed you lies
telling you my life's been pretty good.
Maybe it's because of what life's told me;
What I've learned in these few years,
is that fear is phony
and it's not worth my tears.
I just wish people would remember
that just because I don't cry, doesn't mean I'm not down.
I guess I'm just a pretender
screaming for help without a sound.
I wonder if people do hear
when I scream out mute calls.
But I guess since they don't see tears,
they think it's all false.
But if you ever do see a tear,
take it as a token.
A glimps of my fears,
but the habbit never broken.
