Left Me Hanging
I look at the mirror and see right through,
Thinking of the life I could’ve had with you.
You and me would’ve been a pair,
Of which only we would share…
Instead you left me in midair,
Hanging with nothing to bear,
And yet it seems so unfair,
Why would you leave me there?
Now I think I understand,
With everything I would demand,
How did you hang onto that strand?
Then I snap out of that daze,
And stare at the mirror that seems like a maze.
Now I can see your face,
And I yearn for your embrace.
Yet no one is there to wipe the tears off my face.
But I still have hope that you will come
And be my special someone
I planned that we would go away
And everything would be okay
That I would look toward future like everyone said
Although they left out the trouble ahead
That would just leave me dead…
