Day by day life goes on
Night by night life rolls by.
Like the wind in the willow,
the fish in the stream.
Sunrise and sunset,
in a never ending dance,
give us joy, give us pain.
Give us all that we are and will be.
Time never rests, never stops,
always moving, it can't wait.
To the neverending dawning,
to the everending dusk.
Which is light and which is dark?
I praise the ones who've gone before.
E'en as I weep.
Life and Death.
Each eternal, give us life,
a life worth fighting for.
