Demise of a friendship
It started out perfect
But who was to know
That under the happiness
Lay a foe
Time at a park
Sleepovers galore
Going to the mall
Never thinking of more
As time went by
We started to crack
Lies and deceit
Behind a friends back
It quickly got worse
With that one fatal lie
I couldn't believe it
I wanted to die
How could you do that
My once perfect friend
I didn't know how
My heart would mend
Your lies grew deeper
Your actions were rocky
You weren't my best friend
You were way too cocky
After that we were done
It was downhill from there
I began to move on
To your despair
Days turned to months
We moved on to new cliques
Our friendship was over
I was done with your tricks
I couldn't be happier
I have a friendship thats true
But part of me still wishes
The best to you.
