Break Free
Daddy starts yelling
 And throws stuff around
 Mommy sits quietly,
 Not making a sound

 Sissy's on her bed
 Laying there crying
 Deep down inside
 All of them are dying

 In a dark corner,
 Behind the couch
 I sit there watching
 Filled up with doubt

 I wonder what will happen
 If they fall apart
Will it go back like it was
 Hate filling our hearts?

 Each passing day
 Worse than before
 Our home over-run
 Be a weaponless war

 The screaming gets louder
 I cover my ears
 Close my eyes and pray
 That it will all disappear

 When everything's quiet
 No one saying a word
 A silence unbroken
 The air undisturbed

 Then it starts all again
 The world tumbling down
 I listen for peace
 But don't hear a sound

 Day after day
 I wait patiently
 FOr that one special time
When we all can break free
