The Snowmen
The snowmen woke up in the middle of the night.
What they saw, was such a sight.
Blankets of snow covered the ground.
It was so quiet they couldn’t hear a sound.
The snowmen moved and started to walk.
All the snowmen on the block started to talk.
The snowmen were happy and began to sing a song with a rhyme.
There wasn’t a minute to spare. The night was in it’s prime.
While the snow were dancing, they saw a bright hot light.
This gave them a terrifying fright.
The snowmen went back to their original resting place,
With a sad droopy look on their face.
The children on the block awoke and ran out their door,
They saw puddles of water…and nothing more.
