Do You Remember?
Gigi
Do you remember all the things we used to do together?
Like sitting on the floor while Big Da is in the chair by the door
And doing lots of different puzzles, sometimes we would even blow some bubbles.
Do you remember when we would go outside and build moss houses by the big oak tree, and play in the yard for the whole neighborhood to see?
Do you remember how you taught me to scramble eggs
And how to sweep the floors? And how we would rearrange magnets on the refrigerator doors.
We used to play with your old dolls upstairs and you would always play with my hair,.
You tried to teach me how to sew, even though that didn’t work out so well.
Your smile always lit up the room, and it was always worth the while.
I miss you so much sometimes; I would walk a billion miles.
