Prisoner to the Beauty
It blooms right in front of you
ON a steaming summer day.
For it, there's nothing you wouldn't do.
But it is deceitful
You slave ove it, worship it
It is positively beautiful.
You give it everything
Your time, care, your affection,
And in return, gives nothing.
You are a prisoneer to its beauty,
Go as far to protect it from the pings
of the rain, it is your soul's duty.
But it is ready to make you bleed
With the sharp tacks disguised,
It gives you nothing you need.
But what can you do, or say
You will love it, every moment, every instant
Until it decides to leave you and wilt away.
