Where the water is calm
Along the bay
Among the weeds
The wind blows by
Disrupts the reeds
The sand so cold
The air so warm
But soon tomorrow
Will be a storm
I watch the water
So peaceful so still
The desire to leave
I have no will
Before the clouds settle
And life comes to an end
Where the water is calm
My wounds will mend
