I love how....
I love how my nails are chipped,
barely painted black.
I love how my straightened hair,
always falls flat.
I love how only three of my toes,
still fight to carry the blue.
I love how when I see a fire,
I always think of you.
I love how my neon bracelets,
still march up my skin.
I love how clumsy I am,
Though most just say I'm dim.
I love how my eyes are brown,
but still sparkle in the sun,
I love how I have something to do,
then smile when it's done.
I love how my hands get cold,
whenever I'm outside.
I love how when I'm by myself,
I always speak my mind.
I love how every pair of pants
are very badly torn.
I love how even when I'm smiling,
I still look forlorn.
I love how my complexion is pale.
I'm nearly a ghost.
I love how I am just myself,
clearly, unlike most.
