February Love
Let it rain or let it shine,
I’d still wish for you to be my Valentine,
May it rain or may it snow,
I’d still want you to know,
I wrote you that letter difficult to unravel,
I took your paper heart in endeavor,
If you could just put the tiles together,
We’d have a game of Scrabble,
I’m truly not surprised if you already knew,
That I genuinely like you,
Whenever I see you my stomach seems to perceive,
That I am about to commence on a rollercoaster ride,
My stomach fills with these feathers,
and they continue to tickle at my gut,
I cannot possibly deny these feelings for you,
I feel like a bird on a wire staring up at a sky of blue,
These feelings – they’re so indescribable,
I feel like you’re there to catch me when I fall,
And it’s whenever you’re near,
I can hear my heart beating in syncronized beats,
Telling me to go toward you,
If I was able to get what I wish,
The rivers and the oceans would mix,
With such sweet emotions,
With the late-night moonbeams kissing our faces,
Like a beacon warning that we’re meant for one another,
Let it rain or let it shine,
I’d still wish for you to be my Valentine,
May it rain or may it snow,
I’d still want you to know,
I adore you.
