Promise
Promise.
There is something I have noticed.
That people don’t understand.
The meaning of,
I love you.
It’s not a simple show of affection.
It’s not a common term.
Rather it’s a promise.
That promise is one you should always keep.
The promise is,
That you will die for them.
You would put your life on the line,
Over theirs.
It is a gate to being a hero,
And being brave.
But when you say it,
You should remember that,
If they ever need you,
You promised to help.
By saying,
I love you.
