Silver
Silver flowers on the tree
the wind blows, they call to me
face to the sun
back to the moon
the silent shriek of the dieing loon
forget now
remember tomorrow
never give in to the threatening sorrows
when you are gone will i still hold on?
when sudden stillness breaks the dawn
when rays of light come raining down
in all the fear you seem to drown
until the surface is miles away
until night is as dark as day
and only then will children cry
and only then will the free birds fly
how many people are willing to kill?
how many people are willing to die?
