Sing Something For Me
I’m the worst kind of being
Out of the millions we have
I’m the foulest of creatures
Don’t touch my blue tag
I have been diagnosed
The world is not okay
No one ever listens to
Anything I have to say
My intentions are good
My attitude not
My life’s on a line
My blood feels too hot
Help me now, I’m going down
I’m walking on a wire
I want to be free, out of this place
But life’s one thing you can’t retire
No one can help me
They all just give up
That’s all I ever wanted;
To be needed, to be loved
Just try to befriend me
Welcome me in your group
I feel so left out now
How low can you stoop?
I’m trying to live
I’m trying to see
How can I become
The girl I want to be?
So I write for my freedom
I write for my soul
I write for the future
That my heart beholds.
