The train runs away from here
as the rain pounds away
the wind whispers secrets to the streetlamps
as the flowers turn to pray
the grass bends over backwards
and the trees stretch and moan
the moon drifts to sleep
as it goes home
a single tear falls
from a tired face
feeling even though everything goes on
everythings falling out of place

The author's comments:
Can you feel things just leaving you? The tears that come, those empty words that hang in the air from the past as no ones there with you. The way you try so hard and no on knows as each day goes passed. This poem is just about things falling out of place.

This is a very beautiful poem and you articulated the feeling very well. I love the line 'the wind whispers secrets to the streetlamps.' Although you wrote it about things falling apart, I found it very calming.
