War is Never Won
Bodies lie here, piles of dead
The world as we see it, blood has been shed
Light is nowhere to be seen
Consumed by night, we are the shadows of darkness
The clouds of fog, the gray skies
A thousand lies
Countless gone
And separated completely from us and our existence
War is never won
Nor does it end
No time for love, no time for amends
Strange as it seems
We are not in a dream
And as each day passes we are unclean
The path is long, the road is far, and we all have such a long way to go
Peace is not here
The deceased are not at peace
Divided we are into this never-ending cycle of death and destruction
Tenth Crusade, with more on the way
Newer weapons, newer ways to wage war
Piles will grow, up and up and up
Tearing us apart we have always lived in fear
With soar eyes and tears
Streams of blood that never end
Out of focus
With no direction
