Calm and Enduring
The night must come before the sun can rise,
So likewise, life's great moments follow falls.
To view your problems through another's eyes
Could help you knock down your imagined walls,
For troubles are to be expected now,
But where is sense in blowing up what's real?
Perspective is what lets me know just how
I relate to others, how they feel.
I have amazing friends who understand
And make me laugh, including when I'm blue.
My help is from the greatest Strengthener,
Who leads me when I don't know what to do.
Yes, all is calm and fair and just and right;
The darkness must come before comes the light.
