circle
It ends and begins.
I'm never the one to end it
or the one to start it again.
He takes me through this circle.
I never want it to end when September begins,
but once its stopped i never stop thinking about him.
Even though I think of him all the time,
I do not want it to start again.
Starting again just causes heart ache and grief.
But November break always comes around,
and the circle begins again.
You may be asking yourself
why does she let this ridiculous circle keep going around?
Well one day I'll have an answer to that,
but for now I've felt the sting of a broken heart every end of summer.
But still find something, maybe a spark or a sudden flash from a shooting star that makes me believe deep down he feels the same for me.
