I sit here and I have so much to say,
If only my words jumped from my mouth to the page
That would be wonderful if it happened that way.
My thoughts are all jumbled like bugs in a bottle or birds in a cage

I can share my thoughts with any stranger
But not when it comes to anyone I really know
Your thoughts are yours so there is a danger
But let my tell you my thoughts are no show

If you want entertainment got to the circus, or even the fair,
For my thoughts can turn ugly when clouds fill the sky
So do yourself a favor and do not stare,
Trust me if I were a bird I would fly high.

Far away from judgment,
Away from rules,
For my thoughts are just statements,
Not just for any fools.
