Every night I think about my fears

Sometimes it results in tears.

When my daddy died

For weeks I cried.

This developed my fear of death.

Therefore, I cherish every breath.

I love my mama alot

I fear losing her - living my life without her, I cannot.

When you first walked into my life,

I wanted to be your wife.

Little things I see

For some reason bother me.

I read them and think

"Am I losing you too?" ; my heart begins to sink.

I fear to lose you, oh so bad.

There's some reason we don't have what we had.

I look at the news

And don't wanna be in their shoes -

The shoes of those who have been killed.

Has the satisfaction of the murderer been filled ?

I fear being killed, I fear being shot.

Overall , I'm thankful to God for the life I got . ?
