Father & Son
After my dad died I started to cry,
Nobody to play with laugh or have fun,
There are many things I wanted to try,
Forever it would be father & son.
Throwing the football or game boards all night,
Man I miss those unforgettable times,
No matter the game we played until night,
Feeling as though we committed a crime.
1999 was when I said bye,
How could he do this to me at this age?
Funerals are hard I tried not to cry,
Realizing now how he missing each stage.
I was only five when my father died,
How do you let go when its suicide?
