Lost in me
I saw a girl look at me
Then she looked down at the sea
She started to cry and then she dove
I screamed, helpless and started to rove
I would try to save her, that poor girl
But I just wasn’t so sure
Could she make it out alive?
And start to see that beautiful light
But was I too late? I couldn’t tell
And there she lay, had she drowned?
In the lost, but never found?
Could she make it through the night?
Is it in her to put up this fight?
Would she stay here with me? And not be lost by the sea?
I hope she makes it out alive
To see her stand there with her pride
To see her live through another day
Please, don’t let it pass away.
