Changing World
Somewhere down the line,
The things we value shifted.
And now when we walk by
The world just seems so different.
Now and then when we’re not looking,
Things start to disappear.
And when we need them the most,
We realized they’re not here.
And when the silence starts again
We think back on all our lives,
It’s then we come to really know
What’s yours and what is mine.
In a passing glance
We took our chance,
On what we thought was true.
But now you know
And always show,
For once it’s me not you.
