what would i do without you
December 11, 2010
i have my dad to thank for,
all the food and all the fun,
in just a few years i'll move out,
but my teen years have just begun.
i don't know what i'd do if,
my dad got up and walked away,
like so many other dads have,
they get a new life instead of stay.
my dad has always been there,
he and i have seen it all,
i don't know what i'd do if,
he wasn't there to catch me when i fall,
he is my dad and my best friend,
he is there when i am sad,
he is the concrete in my life,
so this is to say, "i love you dad".
