I'd Protect You
I cannot see the light
 Just your shadow shining bright
Days like this I can't escape
 The frigidity of your hate
Echoes in silence like your voice
Haunted by my plea, your choice
Your absence, what you chose for us
But my own betaryal of your trust
Drew this line and caused this war
Tell me what you're fighting for
 On this battlefield against yourself
 I'm not armed and I can't help
But if I could I'd wrap you in my arms
And take bullets for my guilt
 Not your own self harm
