What Goes On?

On windowpanes, the icy frost
Leaves feather patterns crissed and crossed
But in our castle the Christmas tree
Is decorated festively

With tiny dots of colored light
That cozy up this winter night
Christmas songs, familiar, slow
Play softly on the radio

Pops and hisses from the fire
Whistle with the bells and choir
My Gloria’s now fast asleep
On my side, dreaming deep

When the warmth makes her hot,
She turns to warm me whatever’s not
Propped against her, warm and snug
I give my love a gentle hug

She sinks into my embrace
The fire highlights her beautiful hair and face
Her eyes flutter open as she wakes
Looking up at me a smile then breaks

Wrapping her arms under mine
Her content sigh plucks my heart line
Tomorrow’s what we’re waiting for
But I think we can wait a little more

Once again another point-of-view poem with the male talking. Of course this is a Christmas poem. I'm sorry if it's a little late.
