Flower
A flower is a point of light
Which alleviates one’s plight
Winning the hearts due to its beauty
When one sits between them with tea
Their movement is soft and fresh
Winning those who see this mesh
The rainbow in miniature
This little bit of nature
Roses, daffodils, sunflowers & lilies,
And even those which give the willies
When we see them go
Remember not to go with the flow
A spectacle of color
Is any field of a flower
The picture blooms lovingly
The fragrances mix enchantedly
The spectacle stretches far and wide
Spreading in all its glory on either side
A kaleidoscope of pink, white, yellow and blue
Set in the grass so green so green and a sky where birds then flew
Every bud and every flower
Has the enchanting power
Their fragrance makes us swoon
We’ll want to jump right over the moon
The flecks of pollen fly
And land on each flower there they will lie
Till time passes and out popes the fruit
And its for us we get to their root
