Daddy's Elegy
Dear father I miss you so,
When I see those photos and tapes,
Reminding me of those scarce memories,
Spending those days with you when I was little,
Going everywhere with you,
As we galavanted around,
Mom not knowing where we disappeared to,
You carrying me everywhere we went,
Where did time go,
I wish you can hold me,
I want to be the best daughter,
These tiny memories as a baby,
Meaning all the world to me,
I hope to be as strong as you,
Always being there for mom,
Never having those father daughter dances,
Never having you walk me down the aisle,
Daddy I love you so much,
Why did you have to leave us so,
No matter what happens,
I'll always be your daddy's little girl,
